Following the example of other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 20 April in Zenica was held a public promotion of the informal coalition to combat hatred “Positive Tolerance”. The promotion was attended by representatives of civil and public sectors.
Within the program, a training about the crimes committed out of hatred and prejudice was held. The aim of the training was to familiarize the participants with the elements of the crimes committed out of hatred and prejudice, and the possible responses of the local community to such phenomena.
After the training, members of the Coalition have signed a Memorandum of cooperation, by which act they joined the network of coalitions that combat hatred across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Support to the establishment and activities of the Coalition were provided by OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Photos from the event can be viewed here.
