Monitoring of criminal procedures in the field of sexual and gender based violence in courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina is the programme which lasts eversince 2010. For the first time ever, High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council and courts allowed a domestic NGO to monitor criminal proceedings, access all case files of criminal cases and to attend hearings which were closed for public.
After OSCE BiH, Center was accepted as a „watch-dog“ organization. Developed capacities of the staff for specialized in monitoring, knowledge and expirience give us legitimacy for teaching other civil society organizations.
Three reports/analysis with recommendations for improvement of institutional response for protection of women victims of criminal offenses, thus supporting the reforms of judiciary, were published.
