The 4P Network is a network of specially trained support providers who assist women in accessing services and justice throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Center of Women’s Rights is the founder of the 4P Network, serves as a mentor to the support providers, provides support to the elected network coordinator, and coordinates the implementation of joint activities of the 4P Network members. The Center of Women’s Rights conducts training for future support providers, thereby contributing to the continuous growth of the network and increasing the coverage of Bosnia and Herzegovina with support providers in local communities.
The 4P Network was established with the clear commitment of all its members to direct their social engagement toward women who have experienced or are experiencing violence, recognizing the weaknesses of local communities in understanding and accepting their own role in creating a better and safer environment.
4P stands for:
- P – SUPPORT PROVIDER (POMAGAČICA)
- P – SUPPORTER (PODRŽAVATELJICA)
- P – ACCESS, COMMITMENT, CARE, TRUST (PRISTUP, POSVEĆENOST, POVJERENJE)
- P – JUSTICE (PRAVDA)
The support providers have completed a demanding and practical training program that empowered them to recognize and apply the best support models for women, always keeping their safety in mind and protecting their dignity and integrity. Support providers are perosns of trust who are there to help women gain tailored, easier, and faster access to information and rights, and to provide support when communicating with institutions within the protection system.
If you would like to contact one of the 131 support providers from 47 local communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, you can do so by selecting a city/location on the 4P NETWORK MAP, where you will find all contact information.
