In Ankara, we had the opportunity to present and share our long-standing experience in monitoring criminal proceedings in cases of sexual and gender-based violence in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the regional level. At the invitation of the Gender Equality Monitoring Association (CEID/Cinsiyet Eşitliği İzleme Derneği ), we participated in a Regional Meeting that brought together participants from the countries of the Western Balkans and Türkiye.
Gender equality monitoring, gender-responsive budgeting, policies, and responses to violence were at the core of the meeting and the exchange of experiences.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for the representative of the Center of Women’s Rights, as a newly appointed member of the Coordinating Committee of the Women’s Network of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to share the experiences of the Women’s Network of Bosnia and Herzegovina in advocating for women’s rights at the international level.
We thank Gender Equality Monitoring Association (Cinsiyet Eşitliği İzleme Derneği – CEID) for the invitation and look forward to future cooperation.
