Over the past two days, a regular meeting of the Multisectoral Working Group led by the Center of Women’s Rights was held, bringing together professionals and practitioners from the police, judiciary, and social welfare centers.
During the two-day meeting, we discussed the challenges in implementing the Law on Protection from Domestic Violence and Violence against Women in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as ways to improve practices and stop negative trends that hinder women’s access to justice and the protection of victims.
This dialogue is important in order to work together towards more effective protection, faster procedures, stronger intersectoral support, and a better systemic response to the needs of victims of violence.
We work together to ensure that protection does not remain only on paper — but becomes real safety for every woman.
The implementation of the meeting was supported by the Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation.
