At the end of March 2022, the second Consultative and Information Session was held for members of the Regional Monitoring Team for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings for the Tuzla Canton and Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In order to contribute to improving the protection of the rights of victims of trafficking in criminal proceedings, and strengthening mutual cooperation and coordination between actors at all levels of government in BiH, project activities were presented at the session, while present members of RMT were introduced with the mechanisms and ways of involvement of specialized organizations in the process of identification and protection of victims of trafficking.
The activity is implemented under the auspices of the Program podrške zaštiti ljudskih prava USAID Inspire, within the project of the Center of Women’s Rights from Zenica entitled “A step towards good practices in protecting the rights of victims of trafficking.”
